Sang Kromah grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and started his career in web design at 18. He holds an honors degree in Computer Science, and was also a community organizer in Oakland, California prior to his move to Africa. He is a board member of the Center for Sustainable Development and a member of the board of the National Committee on Hunger. After spending two years working as a community organizer for Food First Africa, Sang decided to move back to his native country of Ghana where he co-founded the Foundation for Liberty and Justice with Nobel Peace Prize Winning revolutionary Kofi Annan, and served as it's executive director until 2012.
